Omar Radi
Investigative journalist and human rights activist in Morocco.
Journalist since 2008, he worked for Atlantic Radio, Le Journal hebdomadaire (terminated by the Moroccan authorities), TelQuel, Media 24 and co-founder of the french version of Lakome (pushed to closing by the Moroccan authorities after a while) and Le Desk (first Moroccan investigative site), Omar Radi is interested in issues related to injustice, corruption, relations between power and business, human rights and social movements. His investigations and participation as an activist in various social movements have, in the past, often earned him the hostility of the Moroccan authorities.
